What belongs to you
You own what you build with crisp: your prompts, the code, the data in your apps and the apps themselves. Here is what that means in practice.

On this page
Our Terms of Service say it plainly: you own your content. That includes what you write to crisp, the code crisp writes for you, the data in your apps, and the apps themselves. crisp claims no ownership of it.
The code is ordinary code#
crisp writes normal TypeScript web apps, not a special format that only crisp can read. Any developer can read it, change it and run it.
Read and edit every file in the Code tab. See Edit the code yourself.
Export the whole project to your own GitHub account and keep it in sync. See GitHub.
Download your app's whole database as one file from the Data tab. See The Data tab.
Changing plans#
Changing your plan does not take anything away from what you built. If you move to a plan with lower limits, the projects you have stay.
AI output is not always unique#
AI models can give similar code or text to different people. Your ownership covers your project, not general ideas or common patterns that appear in many apps.
Your responsibility#
You need the rights to anything you give crisp, such as logos, images or data. When other people use an app you share, you are responsible for how it treats them and their data.
