Each example names who uses the app, what it keeps track of, and the one thing that matters most. Change the details to match your idea. The more your words describe your real situation, the better the result.

A booking page#

First prompt

A booking page for my yoga studio. Visitors see this week's classes with the teacher, the time and the free places, and book a place with their name and email. I see all bookings for a class and can cancel one. Calm colours, easy to use on a phone.

  • Next: "Add sign-in for me only, so visitors cannot see the bookings list."
  • Next: "Send the visitor a confirmation email when they book." See Send email.

A sales pipeline#

First prompt

A sales pipeline for a small team of four. Each deal has a company, a contact person, a value and a stage: new, talking, proposal, won or lost. Show the deals as columns by stage, and let us drag a deal to a new stage. Show the total value of open deals at the top.

  • Next: "Add a notes history to each deal, newest first."
  • Next: "Add a page that shows won deals by month as a bar chart."

A recipe box#

First prompt

A recipe box for my family. Each recipe has a title, a photo, the ingredients, the steps, how long it takes and tags like vegetarian or quick. Search by ingredient, and filter by tag and by time. Warm and friendly design.

  • Next: "Let us upload a photo for each recipe." See File uploads.
  • Next: "Add a shopping list that collects the ingredients of the recipes I choose."

A habit tracker#

First prompt

A habit tracker for one person. I add habits like reading or a walk, and tick them off each day. Show the current streak for each habit and a 12 week grid like a calendar. Calm and minimal, dark theme first.

  • Next: "Add a weekly summary page with the best and the weakest habit."
  • Next: "Make the daily list work well as an app icon on my phone home screen."

An internal tool#

First prompt

An equipment tracker for our school's media room. We lend cameras, tripods and microphones to students. Each item has a name, a code and a condition. A loan has the student, the item, the date out and the date due. The home page shows overdue loans first.

  • Next: "Add sign-in for staff. Students do not sign in." See Sign-in for your users.
  • Next: "Add a page per student with everything they borrowed."

A small online store#

First prompt

A small online shop for my handmade candles. Eight products with a photo, a scent, a size and a price. Visitors add products to a cart and pay by card. I see the orders on an admin page and mark them as sent.

  • crisp builds the shop and the cart, and asks you for your Stripe keys for the card payment. See Take payments.
  • Next: "Email me when a new order arrives."
